κουρίδιος (κοῠρος, also eigtl. jugendlich, welche Bdtg aber bei Hom. nicht vorkommt, vgl. Buttm. Lexil. I p. 32 ff.), ehelich; von der rechtmäßigen Ehe; πόσις Il. 5, 414 Od. 11, 429 u. öfter; κουριδίη ἄλοχος Il. 13, 626; ἀλλ' ἔμ' ἔφασκες Ἀχιλλῆος ϑείοιο κουριδίην ἄλοχον ϑήσειν sagt die Briseis Il. 19, 297 zum Patroclos, du sagtest, du werdest mich zur ehelichen Gemahlinn des Achilles machen, nicht als Sklavinn zur Beischläferinn; auch κουρίδιος φίλος, der liebe Ehegemahl, Od. 15, 22; Her. 1, 135. 5, 18. 6, 138 setzt die κουρίδιαι γυναῖκες den παλλακαῖς entgegen, den Kebsweibern; κουρίδιον λέχος, das Ehebett, Il. 15, 40, wie Ar. Pax 844; Od. 19, 580. 21, 78 nennt Penelope κουρίδιον δῶμα das Haus ihres rechtmäßigen Ehemannes im Ggstz zu dem Hause, in welches sie einem der Freier folgen soll; vgl. noch Stesichor. bei Ath.
